How is a goods lift capacity decided?

What is the difference between a goods-only lift and one carrying an operator?
If no one rides with the load, the goods-lift specification applies. If an operator rides with the load, the lift meets the full passenger standards. We settle this early because it changes the specification and certification.
Can the lift take a forklift?
Yes, if the floor and threshold are designed for it. A forklift imposes point loading on the floor, and pallets need a flush, reinforced threshold — we design both around how your load arrives.
